Elon Musk’s SpaceX raised more capital and is now worth $74 billion. The latest funding round was led by Sequoia Capital. The venture capital firm and other investors invested $850 million in the round, with a share price of about $420.
The investors are especially enthusiastic about SpaceX’s Starship and Starlink, a next-generation rocket and a space-based high-speed internet network. SpaceX has begun to roll out Starlink in the U.S., U.K., and Canada. SpaceX’s rate of innovation is incredible high, and the extraordinary goal is ambitious: creating a human colony on Mars. In the latest round of fundraising the company has received $6 billion for its pioneering and capital-intensive aims.
